A leaf totally untypical for Assam lovers: a strikingly even, medium-sized pine needle shaped leaf with lots of tips. The infusion is medium dark. On the tongue we experience a soft, somewhat medium-strong taste with a slightly malty aftertaste. This Assam has a nice aromatic and spicy aroma. In comparison to many others, this is a high quality consumer tea.
Brewing guide:
1 tsp per cup / 4-5 heaped tsp per litre in just boiled water. Infuse for 2 - 4 minutes.
